WHO IS LORRI & WHAT IS ARTIVITY?
Artivity is the ‘art name’ of Perth based Mixed Media artist, Lorri Lennox – who lives and breathes art.
Lorri truly believes that Art has saved her life. Not only the creation of art itself and the wonderful focus and fun it brings during creation, but the connections made with others. Like minded souls that connect is a wonderful thing and art has brought so many valuable connections her way. It would be Lorri’s absolute honour to make a difference in your life with her art & workshops.
Lorri works primarily from her home studio “Artivity Studio” producing artworks for sale, art journaling, creating a variety of art and craft projects & facilitating creative hands-on workshops. The passion and enthusiasm Lorri has for creativity is contagious, and class participants benefit from her vast knowledge of techniques and her generous sharing of information, which has been gathered from many years in the industry. Lorri and her eldest daughter Bec, owned and operated a paper arts store in Fremantle for 8 years, which closed in 2010 after many of life’s twists and turns changed her direction. With a need and desire to focus on her own healing & art journey, Lorri began working from home – this enabled her to focus more on her passion of creating and teaching. Taking her personal motto “It’s the journey not the destination” literally, Lorri has taught several art programs & classes as a guest art instructor with both Princess & CMV Cruises. Thanks to Covid, this is probably not going to happen again for a while! Lorri is looking forward to teaching a variety of art & mixed media classes again in the new year. Lorri’s work is whimsical and emotional as she allows each piece to emerge from her heart, often containing personal messages of hope, inspiration and positivity. If you would like to organise a workshop, Lorri is available for groups of 4 or more, and will also teach one-on-one if you want a total personal experience.
You can contact Lorri via the ‘contact us’ page, or by following her social media links.

After her parasailing accident triggered lots of physical injuries/chronic diseases her search for pain relief remedies came up short, so, she expanded on her experience with essential oils to create her ‘Lorri’s Linament’ blend to assist with managing her chronic pain. This is a magical linament that Lorri says she couldn’t live without!
Lorri spent time in the Royal Australian Air Force in the 80’s prior to having children, and loved this experience. During this time she also designed many things – the ‘graduation banners’ for the fresh recruits, a logo for the F-18, posters, charts and even coffee cup designs for memorial events. It wasn’t until looking back upon these things that Lorri realised she has always had a love of art & design and now wishes she had pursued this more when she was younger!
